Vinyasa, Yin and Mindfulness
Yoga should be available to everyone for everyone. My hope is that, through my classes, I am able to bring joy, peace and transformation wherever you are on your yoga journey. It is important that you feel supported so you are able to explore you own practice authentically and safely. All yogis are welcome, whether you are just starting out or now at an advanced level. If you are worried about starting yoga, don't worry as all you need to be able to do is breathe!
I first tried yoga at school. Back then, the quiet, slow-moving meditative class did not appeal to my busy life as a teenager. Quite simply, it was boring.
Fast forward a few years, I found myself in a London job that allowed no time for mental or physical wellbeing. Stressed and rundown, I decided to give yoga another go and unknowingly signed up to a Vinyasa Flow class instead of a Restorative one. Oh my! After the sincere realisation that I had no core muscles to speak of, I came to understand that there was more to yoga than I thought. This was a sequenced movement that brought mind, body and breath together. Perfect.
Since then, I've explored many styles of yoga and ways of teaching. Vinyasa Flow is the style I feel most connected to as it allows for the individual creativity of the teacher. In 2018, I took my 200hr Yoga Teacher Training at Yoga London. I have since trained in Yin Yoga with the renown Sarah Lo and am looking to by August 2020 will have also completed my 80hr Pregnancy Teacher Training.
My classes are authentic, creative and open to all.
